This impressive elevated cliff top property has been a much loved family home for many years and is now being offered for you to enjoy as your holiday home. The single storey 1950's built property boasts original 'retro style' features and is in an enviable location on Settlands Hill so has outstanding uninterrupted beach & sea views. Perfect for a family holiday or a couples retreat. Parking is available for 2 cars & 1 well-behaved dog is welcomed.

Main front door leads into:

Hallway : Central hallway with original tiled floor and glass wall it has space for shoes/boots & coats. This area leads to all rooms.

Lounge/Dining Room/Chill Out Area : Accessed from the corridor off the hallway the double glass doors open up into an amazing open plan living room, dining room and chill out area, with original oak flooring, rugs and mood lighting. The 3 huge picturesque windows immediately draw your attention to the most wonderful uninterrupted village, beach and sea views.

The lounge area has a leather sofa, 2 leather chairs & coffee table and takes pride of place in front of the middle picturesque window in this large open space. There is also an electric piano for any musicians in the family or group.

The dining table sits to the right, in front of another large picturesque window. This area has a record player and the back door leads to the outside area.

The 'Chill Out' area sits to the left of the room and has floor to ceiling book shelves, TV with Freeview, games console, relaxing chairs and stools. Along with third large picturesque window it also benefits from an additional single French door with Juliet balcony and views overlooking the village.

Kitchen: leading immediately from the corridor, off the hallway, is the Galley Style kitchen with tiled flooring and sky lights. Offers integrated appliances fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven, ceramic hob & seperate microwave. A door at the far end leads back into the dining area.

Off the kitchen is a Utility Room housing the washing machine and more storage for coats and shoes.

Bedroom 1 : Turn left from the hallway and a door takes you into the Master En-suite room which is carpeted and has a  floor to ceiling double French doors with Juliet balcony overlooking the village. Double size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe and easy chair. The En-suite is tiled with the original Retro 3-Piece Grey bathroom suite - WC, sink and sunken bath. 

Bedroom 2 : Turn left from the hallway and a door takes you into a dual aspect Twin bedded room, which is carpeted. It  has a floor to ceiling Single French door with Juliet balcony overlooking the village and a window overlooking the front of the property/parking area. Also contains bedside table, chest of drawers and dressing table/desk & chair.

Family Bathroom : Off the hallway to the right. Tiled with WC, sink & shower. 

Outside Area : Accessed from steps to the left of the parking area in front of the property or from the back door by the dining area: Fabulous Cliff top location providing uninterrupted village, beach and sea views from the small decked area with balcony railings and outside seating just perfect for Al Fresco dining. A narrow hedged path to the left takes you back around the front of the property up the the parking area (Please note this is a cliff top location so it is advisable to supervise children and dogs at all times. The balcony parapet is 1100mm high and there is a 3 rope section.  Please see photos).

To the right is a locked gate, with steps beyond, to outside area of 'Cliff Cottage' (if both houses are rented by the same group the gate will be unlocked so both outside spaces can have communal use).

Parking: Tarmac parking area for 2 cars in front of the property and is shared with the parking/access to 'Cliff Cottage'.(N.B. The boats stored in this area are for owner use only).

'Cliff Cottage' is owned by the same family and can accommodate up to 8 people. This property can be booked seperately or with 'The Gazebo' to accommodate larger familes/groups of up to 12 people.

Heating : The property has oil fired central heating.

All bed linen, tea towels, oven gloves, jay cloth & scourer are provided and can be changed for a 2 week booking if required.

N.B. Towels are not provided.

Travel cot and high chair provided (cot bedding not supplied).
