We had a lovely time at the old school house for the last 2 weeks. And we loved exploring pembrokshire.

A fabulous old house with plenty of space for a large group to stay in. The location is perfect and only minutes away from Little Haven and Broad Haven with their dog friendly, sandy beaches.

We had a great time exploring this part of Pembrokeshire, mostly on foot from The Old School House. It’s a steep hill down to the closest beach but we enjoyed the fitness challenge and the blackberries in the hedgerows nourished us and slowed the pace! Beaches are lovely and clean as is the sea. Pubs and restaurants are good within walking distance and more slightly further afield in a car…or using the Puffin bus which was a great way to get about including enabling a one way walk on the coastal path.
Milford Haven is not a tourist spot but had the best fish and chip shop as well as an excellent wet fish shop on the quay. We also made good use of the veg stall by the church which sells fresh seasonal, homegrown veg and eggs. It was a very easy place to be for a relaxing and fun 2 weeks.
The house worked well for us with plenty of living space, well equipped kitchen and small enclosed outdoor space with seating and fire bowl. The woodland/garden was a bonus for morning and evening wanders around the lake.
We had a maintenance issue in the house but the response was very prompt. And any query on the run up to the holiday was answered helpfully and quickly. Thanks all.

We had a lovely time in Broadhaven, went to the beach most days which the children loved. As before the Old School was very comfortable with lots of space for everyone.

We had a wonderful week in The Old School House. The location is great, as it is only a ten minute walk to the beach in Little Haven, which is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, paddle boarding and watching the sunset! The house itself is well equipped and full of character. The 11 of us had plenty of room. Highlights nearby included a trip to the Blue Lagoon and a loop walk along the coast around Marloes Sands

The Old Schoolhouse is, in many ways, an ideal base for large groups to explore the best of Pembrokeshire. The space is incredible, and the various rooms allow parties to split up and enjoy both separate and communal time. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at the old school house. The house itself is big with all the facilities and is located in a perfect spot with beautiful views of St Bride's Bay and sunsets to die for.
Thanks you and your team for the wonderful time that we had at the old school house.

The Old School House provided a welcome refuge from Covid 19. We all felt the benefit of the peace and tranquility.
The Jagger Family
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old School House and despite all the 'Covid' restrictions were able to have a lovely family celebration. I think because we had not been able to see each other for a while we were very appreciative of the space so we could all be together. The accommodation was wonderful; well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and the grandchildren really loved the dormitory! Lots of character despite books, games, ornaments having to be removed. A beautiful location too - we really enjoyed the beaches and walks.

The Old School House suited our large family group very well. With 6 grandchildren the Dormitory was the perfect solution. The games room provided much needed (non-digital) entertainment for evenings and rainy days. The kitchen is very well kitted out with an excellent large cooker and much more cutlery and utensils etc. than found in many rents we have had. There is even a special wine chiller cabinet! The woodland, pond and stream are rich in butterflies and birds were a real bonus. Also, there is a very good fresh veg and eggs stall just across the road at Springfield Farm. Our only disappointment was that Bedroom 3 was deemed rather too small for one of the couples in our party. Maybe some room sizes or a floor plan could avoid this disappointment in future? Full marks for Karen at Stay in the Havens for advice about our booking during lockdown and for subsequent timely support.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Old School House. So spacious inside and out, and well very equipped. We totally unwound, and our children had a wonderful time playing, and sharing the Nanny MacPhee room. We loved the walk down to the beach each day. We'd love to return, and would certainly recommend the house to other families.

We enjoyed our stay at The Old Schoolhouse - plenty of space for the three generations of our family. The children enjoyed the dormitory and the games room and the dog enjoyed the woods! It was good to be able to walk to the beach and the pubs and restaurants too. The proximity to the coastal path was a bonus. Overall the house was well equipped (though a washing basket would be useful!). It was excellent that you were easily available to answer any queries etc. Thank you.
