The Old School House Guest Comments

The Old Schoolhouse was ideal for our family holiday (lots of us including three young children), and we would have been very happy with it, had it not been for a major problem that developed ,with the water system, which caused regular loud banging noises throughout the day and night, making it very difficult to sleep.  However, the cause of the problem was quickly identified, and as it could not be rectified immediately, we were offered an alternative house not too far away that was very acceptable, so move after just one night.  It was an unfortunate start to our holiday, but these things happen and it would not stop us booking with ‘Stay in the Haven’ in future, as we felt they dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently.

NB The cause of the banging noise was a faulty macerator which has now been replaced - Karen :)

I would like to say how much my whole family enjoyed staying in the Old School House, there was plenty of space for us all and the house (home!) generally well equipped including books, toys etc to keep us entertained. There was also some lovely pictures and art work in the house.

We enjoyed our stay at The Old Schoolhouse - plenty of space for the three generations of our family. The children enjoyed the dormitory and the games room and the dog enjoyed the woods!  It was good to be able to walk to the beach and the pubs and restaurants too. The proximity to the coastal path was a bonus. Overall the house was well equipped (though a washing basket would be useful!).  It was excellent that you were easily available to answer any queries etc. Thank you.
